21st-Century Literature from the Philippines and the World is a K to 12 curriculum-com pliant textbook featuring representative selections with intertextual connections. It is divided into two main sections - Philippine literature and World literature - and contains four units composed of four lessons each. Each lesson consists of components which enhance appreciation of literary texts and further develop reading, vocabulary, oral communication, collaboration, writing, and research skills, as well as the creativity and critical thinking faculty of the learners.
